CollegeFashionista.com is a community of influential college students gaining access and experience in fashion, beauty, and the digital media industries.
In October of 2017, I began preparing and practicing to be an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Gender, Sexuality and the Media course for the Spring 2018 semester.
As an undergraduate teaching assistant, I will hold office hours to help students with class preparation and assignments. I will also teach lecture and lead discussion on topics including but not limited to: Feminism, Virginity & Purity, Porn Culture, Rape Culture, Women in Politics, White Privilege and Racial Profiling, and Domestic Violence
Lead the social justice and political themed floors working with 35-42 residents helping cultivate community and promote exclusivity
Work with students dealing with sexual assault, mental illness, and help navigate conflicts related but not limited to identities
Research and gather information on 5 different local Minnesota campaigns to identify organizing needs
Proactively organized internal and external advocacy tactic to better engage patients and community with reproductive rights
Brainstorm locally relevant marketing initiatives including all aspects of pre-producing and post event follow up
Worked with department leadership to integrate them in planning processes and develop a great understanding for brand development
